A former private school director from Maryland accused of raping two students in the late 1960s


A 90-year-old man who was formerly a director of a private school on the east coast of Maryland was arrested and accused of sexually abusing two teenage girls at school in the 1960s. The state police of Maryland said Russell Isaac of Bowie, Maryland, faced numerous charges of rape and other sexual offenses. He was arrested Monday at his home and is currently being held in Prince George County Jail, officials said.
The investigation into Isaac began in May 2016 when a woman came forward and said that when she was 14, she was studying at the University of Washington. Moffett School in Barclay, Maryland, in the late 1960s, she was assaulted by Isaac. During the investigation, police said, another woman also claimed that Isaac had sexually assaulted her at school at the age of 15. Police said the incidents occurred from 1966 to 1968. The authorities said the case was still under investigation to be additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-758-1101. .
