In a new survey for Brandenburg, the AfD wins and comes to 22 percent. This puts her just one point behind the ruling SPD and CDU. For the FDP, however, it goes down significantly.

D The SPD in Brandenburg remains at its record low after a new poll, while the right-wing populist AfD can record a record high. This was the result of a survey by Infratest dimap commissioned by the rbb television magazine “Brandenburg Aktuell” and by Antenne Brandenburg.

One and a half years before the next state election, the SPD came to 23 percent – and thus again to the lowest value, which was determined at a “Brandenburg Trend”. The CDU is one percentage point higher than November and is now landing at 23 percent like the SPD. The AfD climbs by two percentage points to 22 percent.

Labor of state government is judged mixed

If the current mood were the result of a state election, no bipartisan coalition would have a government majority. Rather, a coalition of three parties would be necessary.

The Left, which is the smaller coalition partner of the SPD in Brandenburg, remained unchanged at 17 percent. The Greens gain one point and land at seven percent. The FDP has lost a lot, which crashes by three points and would fail with four percent at the five-percent hurdle.

According to the survey, the work of the state government meets with a mixed response: 51 percent are satisfied and 45 percent are critical. Only 32 percent of respondents think that the left is governed. Especially government-critical, the AfD supporters expressed. The AfD, in turn, consider only 11 percent of respondents to be able to govern.
