Andrew Lincoln, star of The Walking Dead, announced that he will leave the show after the next series.
As the TV show's post-apocalyptic zombie approaching its ninth series, Lincoln announced the news to San Diego's fans at Comic. Friday.
The 44-year-old man, whose character has been part of the series since his debut in 2010, said: "There seems to be an elephant in the room and I think a lot of you want to ask a I'm wondering if this is my last year.
"This will be my last season playing the role of Rick Grimes."
