Sarah Atcho chose Belgium to relaunch. The 25-year-old Vaud sprinter joined Jacques Borlée’s training group in Louvain.
Member of the 4x100m relay which finished 4th at the Doha Worlds last year, Sarah Atcho had decided to relaunch her career abroad after a missed experience in St. Gallen with Christian Gutgsell’s group. The Vaudoise, just recovered from a serious knee injury suffered in January, therefore opted for the Borlée clan on the advice of her ex-coach Laurent Meuwly.
Sarah Atcho joins a group made up of brothers Jonathan, Kevin and Dylan Borlée, all specialists in the 400m, and placed under the guidance of their father Jacques (63 years old). Kevin and Dylan won bronze in the 4x400m in Doha in 2019, in the absence of Jonathan (injured) but in the company of a third member of the group (Jonathan Sacoor).
