Coronavirus in India: Covid-19 or the novel coronavirus has affected over one lakh in over 100 countries and killed over 3,000 people. So far 42 cases of coronavirus have been reported in India. A three-year-old boy in Kerala recently tested positive for this rapidly spreading virus. The boy had traveled to Italy with his parents and returned last Saturday. The family underwent a thermal screening at Kochi airport shortly after landing. The family was kept in a quarantine facility in a hospital, where the child developed symptoms and eventually tested positive for Covid-19.

2. Giloy
Amrut or Giloy is known to pacify all three doshas, which are the forces that create the physical body. It is an herb that is safe for everyone. It is a powerful immunomodulator – medicine that helps regulate and normalize the immune system. The giloy root can also help reduce stress and has anti-leprotic and anti-malarial activities. The antioxidants in giloy can offer protection to the body from damage caused by free radicals. Regular consumption of giloy can be helpful in increasing long-term immunity.

3. Turmeric and black pepper
