Bahrain-McLaren team cuts wages

Like Astana a few days earlier, the Bahrain McLaren team has decided to cut their riders’ wages to compensate for the dire economic consequences the coronavirus could have. According to Cyclingnews, the riders on the team, including Mark Cavendish and Mikel Landa, for example, will see their fees reduced by 70% during the months of March, April and May. Note that this decision, taken in agreement with the riders, is only a postponement, and that the rest of the wages will be paid later.
