Today, a Belgian household pays an average of €1,066 more for gas and electricity than its French, Dutch and British neighbours, according to a study carried out by the left-wing party.
“Belgian households are paying the price for the inaction of governments in our country”, reacts Raoul Hedebouw, the president of the PTB. “They took the weakest measures to compensate for the price increase. »
Recall that Mr. Hedebouw’s party is proposing to lower VAT to 6% on electricity and gas and to reduce various other energy charges.
