Jeff Bezos: ‘Blue Origin’ has sold $100 million in space travel tickets

American billionaire Jeff Bezos confirmed that Blue Origin has sold nearly 100 million tickets for future space tourism trips, according to Business Insider.

Blue Origin officially opened ticket sales on its future flights in the morning before Bezos’ flight.

It is not clear if the company sold any private tickets before sales officially opened.

Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000, and began acquiring land in Texas that was used in the launch of the vehicle yesterday, while appointing employees to develop missiles, engines and space engines and now employs more than 3,500 people.

Last Tuesday, billionaire Jeff Bezos succeeded in launching and returning from the edge of space successfully aboard a “Blue Origin” rocket and capsule, and the successful flight was the first manned launch of the company’s “New Shepard” missile.

At an altitude of 250,000 feet, the capsule detached, taking Bezos and his crew to the edge of space, then descended under parachutes and landed again in the Texas desert. The whole trip took 10 minutes.

That successful launch and landing came just nine days after the famous British billionaire, Richard Branson, also succeeded to the edge of space aboard a vehicle designed by his private space tourism company, Virgin Galactic, which now sheds light on space tourism, and draws the interest of tourists. New to the emerging industry.
