Some Windows 10 users have experienced a “Blue Screen of Death” (BSoD) error and a drop in performance after installing the latest optional update KB4541335, as reported by the Windows Latest portal.
The description of the update, released on March 24, indicates that the patch will fix some errors in previous versions of Windows. However, according to several users, KB4541335 caused a wide range of issues, including system crashes, gaming issues, performance issues, and the appearance of ‘blue screens of death’ when playing videos on YouTube.
At the moment, Microsoft reported that the company is not aware of any known issues with this update. Also, because KB4541335 is optional, that is, it is installed manually, problems are not expected to be widespread.
In the meantime, it is recommended that affected users uninstall the update through system settings.
