An exhibition will take place at the Nature Museum from September 16 to 20 Medicinal plants, herbs and various non – traditional vegetables, which was created in cooperation with Artūrs Sildes Gardening Enthusiasts Club Tomato.
According to the Museum of Nature, in the autumn, when the strengthening of immunity becomes especially important, we offer to get acquainted with the diversity of medicinal plants, herbs and various non-traditional vegetables, receive consultations on their cultivation and learn about the wide range of uses. Experienced gardeners and beginners looking for new variations and varieties of vegetables are invited to visit the exhibition. Demanding gourmets will be interested in the Latvian herb exposition, which has been grown in the gardens of local collectors.
The participants of the exhibition promise a rich variety of exhibits, where, in addition to various medicinal plants, both traditionally grown in Latvia and less common and newly known vegetable varieties will be on display.
A special place in the exhibition will be dedicated to Latvia’s traditional wild medicinal plants and houseplants, their role in supplementing our daily menu.
The museum is asked to take into account that safe visits to the museum must comply with existing regulations, and calls for them to be treated responsibly and with understanding. «We especially invite you to plan your arrival at the museum, observing working hours, use payment cards for payments and follow the instructions placed by the museum staff and premises.
