UA Brussels Airlines plane made a U-turn shortly after taking off from Zaventem due to a technical problem. The A330 airbus with 235 passengers on board left Brussels Airport on Saturday around 1:15 p.m. but turned back as it flew over Thionville (north-eastern France).
The plane was to go to Douala and Yaoundé, Cameroon. He returned to Brussels airport around 2:30 p.m. A solution was sought for the passengers, said a spokesperson for the company. Mechanics were trying to determine the origin of the damage.
