Business Buzz: Draft Works seltzer; local unions announce news | Local business

From identifying challenges in the vineyard to improving winemaking and marketing efforts, the sixth annual conference for the Montana Grape and Winery Association offers something new for everyone this year.

The group will meet at the Bitterroot River Inn in Hamilton for a three-day session, March 5 to 6, and will begin Thursday evening with a tasting event where participants will be able to sample and classify Montana wines produced by members. The prizes will be delivered for the best entries in a banquet on Friday evening.

The main sessions of the gathering begin Friday morning with five presentations ranging from grape troubleshooting to an update by the Montana State University of Corvallis Western Agricultural Research Center on the health and vitality of Montana vineyards.

Clearwater Credit Union has announced the inauguration of its newly renovated branch at 3600 Brooks St. in Missoula. The improved branch will be operational on Monday 24 February. The grand opening event will take place on Wednesday 26 February 2020, from 17:00. at 19:00 in the new branch.

The refurbishment focused on updating an old existing building on the Brooks Street campus. According to a company press release, the goal of this project was to improve the member experience, combine lobbying and drive-thru services, improve security and ease of access, and demonstrate the commitment of the credit union for social, economic and environmental sustainability.
