Mexico City, November 17 (However) .- After the release a video in which they are seen carrying out a possible sexual act in a Monitoring Center, two police officers from the Mexico City they were removed from their positions.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City reported that the events occurred in the monitoring center of a hospital to which the officers were commissioned for the security and supervision of the place.
The agency detailed that after “the video was released, the Police Inspection area of the Auxiliary Police was informed for the conducting actions.”
“The officers were identified and called to render their statements before said instance; meanwhile, personnel from the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of the SSC became aware of the actions and initiated the corresponding investigation folder, ”the authority explained.
“Due to the events that occurred that can be seen in the recording, and because of the conduct presented by the police officers, which does not reflect the values of this Institution, its groups and complementary police, a woman and a man belonging to the Auxiliary Police were given discharged on October 4 ”, he added.
The SSC reiterated its commitment to purge the police forces, to combat corruption, to investigate and punish poor police performance, abuses or omissions in police work.
