This week Noam, 16, met Sébastien Gendron, the author of the fantastic thriller, Kaplan, published by Syros editions (September 2018)
The action of Kaplan takes place in 2049. Leeton seceded in the heart of another city, the Cushinberg, which is a proven dictatorship. Two main characters: Kaplan, a spy sent to do a suicide mission in Leeton. And 16-year-old Rimbolt, who lives in Leeton, has been recruited by his country's secret service to monitor Kaplan. An adult against a teenager, a race against the clock between the two "enemies": who manipulates who?
Noam loved the plot of the story and the political dimension of the story, between futuristic dictatorship and democracy.
