Travel advice for various areas was also tightened up in France on Tuesday. These are the departments of l’Ain, Ille-et-Vilaine, Isère, Loire, Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Pas de Calais, Puy de Dôme, Pyrénées Atlantiques, Pyrénées Orientales and Tarn-et-Garonne.
The number of coronavirus infections has also increased for the Danish city of Copenhagen and the surrounding area and the city of Odense. The travel advice for these cities has also been adjusted to code orange.
The reason for the tightened travel advice is the sharply increased number of people who have become infected with the corona virus in the areas. The new advice means that vacations are discouraged and that people must be quarantined for ten days when they return home.
The ministry also points out that in the Hungarian capital Budapest, the number of coronavirus infections has risen sharply. Here too, people who have been there must be quarantined. Since September 1, there are travel restrictions for Hungary for travelers from the Netherlands. Only residents of Hungary are allowed to enter the country. After returning to Hungary, they must have 14 days in quarantine or two tests that show that they are negative.
