The relationship of snoring to “Corona”
Health experts have warned that people who “snore” may be three times more likely to die from the Corona virus, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”.
He urged the experts, who suffer from loud snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, to take additional precautions, because their lives are in danger due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
Scientists from the University of Warwick in England conducted a review of 18 studies on the relationship of sleep apnea and the Corona virus, and found that those who suffer from this condition, which causes snoring and suffocation when the throat muscles relax and temporarily block the airway during sleep, are at greater risk of hospitalization or Death due to the virus.
The condition is more common in people who have diabetes, obesity, or high blood pressure, which also increases the risk of death if they contract COVID-19.
Germany invests 900 million dollars for the “vaccine”
The German government announced that it is providing up to 750 million euros ($ 892 million) to support 3 local pharmaceutical companies that are working to develop vaccines against the Corona virus.
The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Anya Karlczyk, explained that the government has already agreed to provide the companies “Biontech” and “Curvac” with an amount of 375 million and 230 million euros, respectively, to develop vaccines based on RNA.
Problems experienced by patients after months of recovery
A new study revealed that at least 70% of Corona virus patients suffer from lung problems months after leaving the hospital.
In Henan Province, China, researchers examined 55 patients who had recovered and were allowed to go to work, according to the results published in the journal EClinicalMedicine.
The study says that only four cases were considered severe, although none of them required a ventilator, according to “Russia Today”.
But three months after being discharged from hospital, many patients are still suffering from chronic symptoms. Nearly two-thirds complained of problems including shortness of breath, cough, digestive problems and headaches.
Corona vaccine may be ready within 4 weeks
US President Donald Trump has said that a vaccine for the Corona virus may be ready for use within four weeks.
Trump added in remarks carried by Bloomberg News this morning, Wednesday: “Maybe the previous (US) administration would take years to provide a vaccine because of the US Food and Drug Administration and collecting approvals … We are weeks away from getting it. Maybe three or four weeks.”
Public health authorities have raised concerns that the White House is pressuring the US Food and Drug Administration to approve a vaccine before the elections scheduled for November 3, and pharmaceutical companies that jointly develop vaccines have said that they will not provide a vaccine until it is thoroughly examined to ensure its safety and effectiveness.
