LPrime Minister Alexander De Croo carried out a PCR test this morning which turned out to be negative. As provided for in the rules applicable to vaccinated persons, its quarantine has been lifted.
Alexander De Croo will nevertheless carry out a significant part of his activities remotely in the coming days.
Its agenda had already been reorganized in this direction, following the decisions of the Consultative Committee last week, the measures of which entered into force last weekend.
Negative test also for the Minister of the Interior
The PCR test carried out by the Minister of the Interior Annelies Verlinden was also negative. The two ministers were in quarantine, as were Sophie Wilmès, Vincent Van Quickenborne and Ludivine Dedonder after being in contact on Monday with French Prime Minister Jean Castex, who tested positive for covid.
The Minister of the Interior, for her part, clarified that she would be physically present in Parliament on Wednesday to present her general policy statement.
