Coronavirus: Two kindergartens in Wolfsberg blocked

After a 15-person kindergarten group in St. Marein near Wolfsberg was banned on Wednesday because of a child and an employee who tested positive for Corona, the authorities have now closed the entire special kindergarten and the municipal kindergarten. The employee had a lot of contacts, so the ban was ordered. A doctor at the Waiern hospital in Feldkirchen tested positive. The hospital was closed to visitors.

Already tests

In Wolfsberg, all children in the special kindergarten have already been tested, the results were still pending on Friday. Now all children and employees of the municipal kindergarten are to be tested. At the Waiern hospital, all employees who have had contact with the infected doctor are tested. The patients in the psychosomatic department are also tested. The doctor is likely to have been infected during a training course. After his return, he had worked in the hospital for two days before he was informed by the organizer of the training that a participant was infected. He was then immediately tested, with a positive result.
