On Tuesday, a tenant of a retirement home in Rivière-du-Loup, Le Havre La Fontaine, tested positive for the coronavirus. A massive screening operation was carried out among some 95 residents and around 20 employees.

All residents have been placed in segregation and visits are prohibited until Monday. Only family caregivers are allowed to enter the establishment.

“No new case has been declared for the Havre La Fontaine residence in Rivière-du-Loup,” says the media relations advisor of the Bas-Saint-Laurent Integrated Health and Social Services Center, Ariane Doucet -Michaud.
