CD PROJEKT RED today released additional Cyberpunk 2077 videos as part of the latest episode of Night City Wire, including a new trailer that focuses on legendary rocker boy Johnny Silverhand played by Keanu Reeves, plus gameplay and a look behind the scenes Backdrops.
The episode began with the reveal of an action-packed trailer that focuses on Johnny Silverhand and the unique connection he shares with V – the game’s protagonist. This was followed by a behind-the-scenes video in which Keanu Reeves talks about his transformation into the iconic rebel rocker boy of Night City, including voice and motion capture recordings.
In “Score und Soundtrack” Marcin PrzybyÅ ?? owicz (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), PT Adamczyk (GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales) and Paul Leonard-Morgan (Dredd, Limitless, Battlefield: Hardline ) together with other participating musicians on creating atmospheric original music for the upcoming video game.
Players who want to get in the mood for Cyberpunk 2077 can now listen to the freshly released Original Score EP with six tracks for a total of 22 minutes. The EP is now available on a selection of popular digital Music streaming and distribution platforms available.
With “JALI” the episode then turned to the innovative technological solution used in Cyberpunk 2077 to improve the facial expressions and lip-synchronicity of the characters in the game. The video gives an insight into how JALI enables immersively realistic performance in 11 fully localized languages.
Shortly before the end of the show, the official gameplay trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 made its debut. The five-minute long feature highlights a range of aspects of the open world and adventure stories that players will be a part of. These are supplemented by unprecedented in-game material that shows the experiences that await in the dark future.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Stadia. Anyone who plays Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X / S or PlayStation 5 can look forward to improved performance right from the launch of the game. A free upgrade will also appear at a later date, which will fully utilize the hardware of the Next Gen consoles and will be made available free of charge to owners of the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version.
