Rio Grande do Norte will receive more than 140,000 vaccines against Covid-19

The vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in Rio Grande do Norte will be reinforced in the coming days. The State Department of Public Health (Sesap) should receive 143,340 doses of three different immunizers.
According to the indication of the Ministry of Health, the RN should receive 93,050 vaccines from Astrazeneca/Fiocruz, 30,400 from Coronavac/Butantan and 19,890 from Pfizer. At the end of the morning of Monday (19), the agency confirmed the delivery of two batches, with all of the planned doses of Coronavac/Butantan and 18,300 units of Astrazeneca/Fiocruz, at noon on Tuesday (20) .
Most of this batch will be used for age group vaccination. And 47,680 vaccines are for the second dose, with a view to completing the immunization scheme for Potiguars.
Sesap is awaiting the Ministry’s indication regarding the dates and times of delivery of the other vaccines, to set up the distribution scheme and expedite the shipment of cargo to municipalities as quickly as possible.
