Recently, the world community was shocked by the discovery of a combination case of the Delta and Omicron COVID-19 variants, namely Deltacron. It is known that this hybrid variant has spread in Europe and the United States.
This alarming news makes many people worry about the next wave of COVID-19. So, what are the symptoms caused by Deltacron?
Symptoms of Deltacron
To this day, the World Health Organization (WHO) is still monitoring and has not specifically determined the symptoms caused by the Deltacron hybrid variant. However, because this variant is a combination of Delta and Omicron, there is most likely no difference in symptoms with other COVID-19 variants.
“So the symptoms are the same as SARS-CoV-2. The symptoms are the same attacking our bodies,” said the spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force, Dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro in an online discussion, Monday (14/3/2022).
The symptoms of Deltacron include:
- Have a cold
- Sore throat
“Feeling symptoms of cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, flu-like symptoms, you should do an antigen (swab test) as soon as possible,” appealed Dr.
