Eric, 56, hospitalized for Covid, but at home: “It feels good to be at home and to make room for others who are even more ill”

Following a heavy Covid, Eric Pietrons is followed at a distance by EpiCURA Hospital in Ath.

After contracting a heavy Covid at the end of April, Eric spent three weeks at the EpiCURA hospital in Ath. But thanks to an all-new remote patient tracking system, the 56-year-old was able to return home sooner after a grueling stay. “It scares the hell out of me, I don’t wish that on anyone”, he breathes straight away when he has not yet recovered all of his breathing capacity.

“It’s been a week now since I left but I continue to be monitored remotely and everything is going well. I received an application on my mobile phone and I send my blood pressure, temperature and oxygen level three times a day via bluetooth, everything is automatic.
