Fake bomb threat on a flight to Brussels Airport

“The checks were carried out by the federal police.”

The plane, an Airbus 220 Air Baltic, took off from Riga, the capital of Latvia, and was destined for Brussels airport. The plane landed shortly before 6 p.m., but after a bomb threat, the plane was taken to a corner of the airport to be properly inspected.

All Brussels Airport services remained operational during this check, the airport assured.
