There was a major police operation in Winterthur on Monday. Shortly before 4 p.m., the Winterthur city police received an amok alarm for the Im Lee canton school. It was a false alarm, as the Winterthur city police told RADIO TOP on Monday evening.
In an interview with RADIO TOP, Rahel Egli from the Winterthur City Police explains the facts:
The police moved out in the afternoon with a large contingent. The police corps of the city and canton police were involved in the operation. The school house was evacuated and searched. There was no property damage or injuries.
The police assume that the false alarm was triggered by a technical cause.
