Fourth Retirement Savings of Americans Work

WASHINGTON – Many American families are still financially and insecure about their retirement expectations while an increasing job market and wages are rising, according to a Federal Reserve survey released Thursday.

A quarter of those working say that they have no retirement savings, the survey said, and 44% are concerned that saving is not on the right track. Among young workers, aged between 18 and 29 years, 42% have not set aside anything, and only 26% believe that they are adequately prepared for retirement.
