The cantonal police clarified a series of criminal acts, including fires of vehicles in parking lots of buildings in Villars-sur-Glâne, which occurred winter 2019-spring 2020.
The Friborg cantonal police elucidated a series of acts of vandalism perpetrated between November and March in Villars-sur-Glâne (FR). She arrested the four main alleged perpetrators, aged 15 to 17, and seven other alleged perpetrators, aged 14 to 21. All are male.
The investigations carried out by the investigators made it possible to confuse twelve alleged perpetrators and to clarify more than thirty complaints, said the Cantonal Police on Tuesday. They will be denounced to the Juvenile Court and the Public Ministry, the statement said. The total loss is estimated at 200,000 francs.
More than thirty complaints
The most important acts of vandalism concerned fires in a room in the basement of a shopping center, in the sports center and buildings, as well as in forest sofas. Private vehicles, communal buildings, primary schools and private homes were also damaged.
The alleged perpetrators, principal and secondary, are all domiciled in the region. Placed in provisional arrest, they were heard and acknowledged their involvement. Subsequently, these adolescents and young men were released after the police operations.
To date, more than thirty criminal complaints, filed between 2019 and this year, have been clarified by the Cantonal Police. Note that the school bus fire, which occurred in 2018, still in Villars-sur-Glâne, also found an explanation during the investigations.
