Fujifilm’s new camera is mirrorless, lightweight, and uses auto mode

Fujifilm is expanding its X camera series with the X-S10 model. It is a compact, mirrorless system camera. According to the manufacturer’s product page, the device is equipped with a 26.1 megapixel X-Trans-CMOS-4 sensor. In addition, the X processor 4 and an integrated five-axis image stabilization (IBIS) are on board. The latter is about 30 percent more compact and lighter compared to previous models, the manufacturer continues. The camera weighs a total of 465 grams.

The camera is easy to use, writes Fujifilm. For example, it offers an auto mode that adapts all settings to the subject. At the same time, the device also offers advanced functions such as 4k / 30p recording with 10 bits and 4: 2: 2 color scanning or high-speed recording with 240 frames per second for slow-motion sequences. The manufacturer also highlights the camera’s rotating and swiveling LCD touchscreen and the large, ergonomic handle. It consists of a robust magnesium alloy and supports a steady camera position.

According to Fujifilm, the camera will be available in stores from the end of November. The RRP is 999 francs. Fujifilm will provide further information at Product page for the X-S10 to disposal.

The flagship of the X-Series is the X-T4. Fujifilm presented them in March of this year. What the device can do read here.
