Gareth Bale’s sporting future seems to have been settled: The 31-year-old Welshman is back in the Premier League.
According to a report in the Times, the attacker agrees to move to Manchester United. So far, Bale has always spoken out in favor of staying at Real Madrid, where he is under contract until 2022. Since he has bad prospects under coach Zinédine Zidane and also on the advice of Welsh national coach Ryan Giggs, he is now pushing a change.
The modalities still have to be clarified: ManUtd has a loan in mind, the Madrilenians would rather sell Bale directly. But since Real Bale would primarily like to be struck off the payroll, the chances of negotiating are good.
