Github is now fully integrated with Microsoft Teams. The code sharing and hosting platform has an application, in beta, that can be installed via the app store of Microsoft’s collaborative solution.
This integration makes it easier for developer teams to collaborate on their Github-based projects. After interconnecting Github and Teams accounts, it is possible to take advantage of various integrations. The members of a team can among other things open, reopen, close and comment on new “issues”. But also receive notifications concerning the activity of an organization or a repository. A team can see all of the essential details of activities related to a GitHub project, which will display in a dedicated channel in Microsoft Teams. The integration ensures that cards notifying a “pull request” or “issue” are always up to date. The same goes for other metadata like controls, descriptions or labels.
