TEGAL NEWS – The fire incident on a fishing boat at the port of Tegal, Central Java occurred again, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at dawn. It was reported that dozens of ships were engulfed by the red rooster while leaning in the harbor.
In a video that was widely circulated on social media, fire quickly engulfed a string of fishing boats accompanied by black smoke billowing high.
It is estimated that the ship fire occurred at Pelindo’s eastern port at around 04.30 WIB. When the fire spread, the harbor was still dark.
The fire quickly spread because the ship’s material is made of flammable materials and the ship also contains fuel oil (BBM).

Dozens of residents around the port were seen watching the ship fire incident. However, officers immediately appealed and prevented residents from approaching the ship’s fire point.
Fire trucks from the Tegal City Fire Department have arrived at the location since 05.45 WIB to tame the fire with the help of local residents and ship owners.
Until this news was published, it was reported that the fire had not been extinguished, considering that the location of the burning ship was filled with fishing boats parked in the port.
