High school football: They are a group with Narbonne receivers

One by one, they provided a photo outside Narbonne Harbor City weight room.

Traeshon Holden made a bold statement.

“It's the best body in the country,” he said.

But what about the receivers at Mater Ana Ana Dei, Calabasas and St. Louis?

“We are not,” said Holden.

There are many very good receivers in Southern California, but the Narbonne collection is intended to put the claim right.

“They check all the boxes,” said Narbonne, assistant Tim Kaub.

Holden (Alabama commitment), Joshua Jackson (USC commitment), Kobe Stewart (Arizona State commitment), Elijah Queen and Eren East are a group of five seniors. Stewart has not yet played after moving from Georgia. It becomes eligible next week.

“Kobe makes us very good,” said Kaub.

They all played in scmmage against West Chaminade Hills.

“Together, they present matchup problems,” said Chaminade coach Ed Croson. “Their receiver could not. 5 be also with your envelopes No. 1.

Narbonne aggressive coordinator, Brandon Manumaleuna, said the 2016 Narbonne team will be very difficult. The team went 14-1 and included Stephon Robinson (Kansas), Tyrone Marshall (State of Montana) and Tre Walker (San Jose State) receivers.

This year's group offers many options for quarterback Jake Garcia. The east side is the occupier receiver who guides the team with 29 receptions. The Queen, who was in school for four years, took 78-yard land last week against Orange Lutheran. Jackson has a catch of 70 yards. Holden, who could have switched from Florida and had not become eligible two weeks ago, could be ready to break out during the Friday final against Gardena Serra at Narbonne.

Whether they are the best in Southern California, let the debate begin.

The Mater Mater, Kody Epps, Kyron Ware-Hudson and Cristian Dixon had more than 100 yards in Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial. Super sophomore CJ Williams is also there.

Logan Loya, Kris Hutson and Beaux Collins are at John Bosco, and they are large recruits.

LSU and Oregon are headed by Jermaine Burton from Calabasas and Johnny Wilson, respectively, and Amoni Butler and Devin Hardy are also.

It is also too early the Narbonne group to be among the best group ever. Remember that in 2009 Robert Woods had a group of Robert Woods, Paul Richardson and Marqise Lee, all of whom are in the NFL. And the group Mater Dei was two years ago by Amon-ra St. Brown (USC), Bru McCoy (USC), Nikko Remigio (Cal) and Michael Martinez (UCLA) are outstanding.

The Serra protection supports may be able to answer the positive question of the best person this season after Friday night. Hen Pinkney's corner and Devyn King and the Devin Kirkwood lockers, Geordon Gaspard and Lavon were faced at Calabasas on Chalabasas earlier in this season and are now accepting the Gauchos.

“They are so deep,” said Serra coach Scott Altenberg from Narbonne. “I look at them,‘ Who is this man? Who is this man? 'They're loaded.'

But everyone knows that if a defense protects how many pressure is applied on a fourth quarter, a pass attack can be struck. It happened to Narbonne in a loss of 41-21 with a Highland (Utah) Single Peak on 31 August.

The Gauchos (3-1) hope they have learned their lesson and do not intend to lose another game this season.

Can I borrow a helicopter? Los Angeles County Commuter made it through Carmageddon in 2011, when a 10 mile stretch of the 405 Freeway closed for three days. Will football fans advance in October 25, when there are so many top games that will not even employ a helicopter?

Scheduled games include Mater Dei-St. John Bosco, Mission Viejo-San Clemente, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame-La Puente Bishop Amat, Aleman Hills Mission, Dorsey-Crenshaw, Narbonne-Carson, Calabasas-Westlake Village Oaks Christian, Marona del Mar-Newport Harbor, Chatsworth Sierra Canyon -Simi Valley Grace Brethren.

Yes, I could stay at home, watch Mater Dei-St. John Bosco on TV and break out the computer to see some other games. But this would not be as playful as LA traffic.

The most important thing for everyone is to make sure that you charge your mobile phone and that you have a charger in your pocket so you can monitor on Twitter or elsewhere while watching the best game. with you. It will be on the 25th of October.
