What is Lilo & Stitch about?

Lilo and Stitch it’s simply one of the greatest animated films Disney has ever made. It’s a story about the meaning of the family, about sisterhood and about adapting to change, whether it’s a great tragedy or an alien who comes to live with you or a combination of both.

Stitch is a genetically modified animal originating from a distant interstellar civilization; Lilo is a misfit young woman who doesn’t get along with most of the others, except, sometimes, Nani, her older sister. Nani works to look after her family after the loss of her parents, but things are not going very well for them when Cobra Bubbles – a former CIA agent turned social worker, unmistakably played by Ving Rhames – shows up to determine if Lilo could feel better in foster care.

When Stitch arrives on planet Earth, after escaping from his prison from the Galactic Federation, Lilo finds the friendship he craved, although the problems are not far behind.

The film also stars Daveigh Chase, Chris Sanders, Tia Carrere, David Ogden Stiers, Kevin McDonald, Zoe Caldwell, Jason Scott Lee and Kevin Michael Richardson.
