Alexey Kalitsev, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor CIS, confirmed plans to launch four new products on the Russian market in 2020.
In the second half of the year, sales of the Hyundai Palisade crossover and the new generation Hyundai Elantra, as well as the first crossover of the Genesis brand – GV80 – and the new generation of the Genesis G80 sedan will begin in our country.
Hyundai Palisade is the largest model of the brand. The SUV was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2018, and a year later appeared in the Rospatent database. The car is equipped with a 3.8 liter gasoline engine rated at 295 hp. and an eight-speed automatic. The basic versions will receive front-wheel drive, with top-end modifications, the drive will be full.

Hyundai also announced the launch of a new business in the Russian market. The Business Mobility division will become a competitor to leasing companies that provide cars for car fleets of various companies. The offer is relevant for legal entities, but both large companies and individual entrepreneurs can become clients.
Under the Business Mobility program, it will be possible to rent a fleet of any size, from 1 car. Customers will also be able to choose any model of the Hyundai or Genesis brand, and in any version and configuration – no fixed set of cars is supposed. Leasing terms also vary widely – from 12 to 60 months. Alexey Kalitsev suggests that leasing for 2-3 years will be the most popular.
Leasing payments will include a full range of car maintenance services, including taxes and fines. Pass MOT, change tires will be possible in the official dealerships of the brand in any city in the country. In total there are 184 Hyundai dealerships in Russia.
For individuals, Hyundai has been operating the Hyundai Mobility program since October 2019, according to which you can sign up for a car for a maximum of 12 months. According to Alexey Kalitsev, in less than 7 months 11,000 users were registered in the program.
