It is 5:55 pm this Friday. We are a few minutes from the closure of the Telecom Shop on Avenue Wanderpepen in Binche, a shop located in the nerve center of Binche, just in front of the Post Office.
Paolo Alongi is in his office on the second floor, in a business meeting. He discusses business with his computer scientist son, the accountant and a representative from Orange. Suddenly, there is a commotion on the ground floor. Four masked, hooded and gloved men burst into the shop. Behind the counter, the salesman is bleeding. One of the individuals has just stabbed him in the thigh with a knife. Blood flows. The men yell: “The cash register, the cash register!” “.
► Paolo remembers this traumatic episode (photos): “I had the gun pointed under my nose, it was horrible”
► The police opened an investigation: there are many cameras at this location, in the heart of Binche!
