I'm A Celebrity's Noel Edmonds' double-decker bus boosted his dying friend's life

A widow today reveals how to get along with the family Geoff's life by taking him around Europe in the double decker he told camp-mates about last week.

Sharon Dunford said the star was in action after Geoff, then 62, was given six months with cancer in 2013 – but he lived four more years.

First Noel arranged for Geoff to see a Harley Street specialist then he and wife Liz put the trainer Bristol Rovers chairman on a lifestyle plan including meditation, diet changes and the use of an energizing matte electro.

"Maybe it was better, the positivity of knowing he felt better," says Sharon. Noel then bought his London bus and they headed off across France.

"We had her renovated and put in furniture. Upstairs was a bar and a movie room. It was like a gentleman's club. Noel and Geoff had an incredible bond. "

Noel Became the Shock I'm Celebrity 2018 this week.

The 69-year-old looked at the name of the person, having gone into the show as a big name late entry to a massive £ 600,000 appearance fee paid by ITV.

After the surprise news was broken in camp, he said: "Yes absolutely. Right, am I supposed to look disappointed? It's been great, really really terrific. "
