Action by a local retailer makes the Apple flagship affordable.
Although the new iPhone 12
in the Apple keynote on Tuesday evening
is probably not presented, the prices of the current smartphones of the US group have been falling for a few days. With the iPhone 11 Pro, there is now even a campaign in which the price falls below 900 euros for the first time.
iPhone 11 Pro at a bargain price
At the cheapest domestic online retailers, the 5.8-inch smartphone in the 64 GB version is currently available for 929 euros (geizhals.at-check on September 15, 8:05 a.m.). But now MediaMarkt is stepping up again. The electronics retailer will open a new store in Parndorf on September 17, 2020. On the opening day, the iPhone 11 Pro (64 GB) will be sold for 899 euros. For comparison: Apple is still charging 1,149 euros for its top smartphone.
Further offers and local restrictions
In addition to the iPhone 11 Pro, MediaMarkt has numerous other products on offer on the opening day – from TVs and wireless headphones (AirPods for 123 euros) to Android smartphones and household appliances such as Dyson battery-powered vacuum cleaners and coffee machines. Important: The offers are locally limited and only apply in Parndorf. If you want to get hold of one of the bargains, you have to appear directly on site. On September 17th, the new media market will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Incidentally, after the launch of the iPhone 12, Apple will Dramatically lower the price of the normal iPhone 11
. The iPhone 11 Pro (Max), however, should no longer be sold.
