Italo speedster (50) flashed at 103 km / h in town

Shortly before 3:45 p.m., the man was driving on Hardstrasse at a massive speed in the direction of the Rothausstrasse / Hardstrasse junction. The measurements showed, after deducting the legal tolerance, a speed of 103 km / h, as the Baselbieter police announced on Monday. 50 km / h is permitted on the relevant section of the route. According to the Road Traffic Act, this speeding violation is a speeding incident.

The 50-year-old driver, an Italian citizen living in Switzerland, was stopped and checked on site. It turned out that the driver never had a Swiss driver’s license. Due to the clarified ownership of the vehicle, it was not confiscated.
