Jasa Marga’s Toll Revenue During Homecoming Increases 28.1 Percent Compared to November 2021

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded a 28.1 percent increase in toll revenue during D-7 to D + 7 Idul Fitri 1443 Hijri or April 22, 2022 to May 9, 2022.

This increase in toll revenue exceeded the initial projection of 27.3 percent compared to normal conditions in November 2021 which were recorded as the highest average during the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of the factors leading to the increase in toll revenue is the total volume of traffic (traffic) which reached 1.69 million during the return period (D-7 to D2).

Meanwhile, 1.78 million vehicles crossed the Jasa Marga toll road during the return period (H1 to D + 7).

Jasa Marga’s Head of Communications and Community Development Group, Dwimawan Heru, said this in a press release, Monday (23/5/2022).

“In the first quarter of 2022, the company recorded a 16 percent higher operating revenue compared to the first quarter of 2021,” said Heru.

Heru said that this figure was the accumulation of traffic from the four main toll gates (GT).

The four are Cikampek Utama and GT Kalihurip Utama (direction Trans Java and Bandung), GT Ciawi (direction Puncak), and GT Cikupa (direction Merak).

Heru hopes that this performance can be maintained until the end of the year.

Jasa Marga is also optimistic that this will be achieved in line with the recovery of the Covid-19 pandemic condition and also the increase in already better traffic volume.

Previously, Jasa Marga also recorded a positive performance during the first quarter of 2022 amid Indonesia’s increasingly recovering economic conditions.

This is evidenced by the net profit of Rp 392.8 billion, a jump of 142.7 per cent compared to the first half of 2021, which is Rp 231 billion.

The increase in performance in the first quarter of 2022 is the success of Jasa Marga in demonstrating its commitment to maintaining performance growth.

In addition, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) also recorded business profits in RPG. 3.2 trillion or grew 16 percent.
