Kanye West now has something to wear with his red MAGA hat: the rapper and prominent supporter of President Trump has designed a line of t-shirts bearing the inscription "Blexit", a call to African Americans to leave the Democratic Party.
The jerseys were unveiled Saturday at the Turning Point Black Youth Summit, a meeting of young black conservatives in Washington. "Blexit is a rebirth and I'm lucky to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and superhero Kanye West," said Candace Owens, spokesperson for the group, on page six.
The superhero mention was a reference to something West had said during a strange appearance in the oval office with Trump earlier this month, when the rapper said wearing his MAGA hat gave him the impression of "feeling like Superman".
The shirts, including another "We Free" pattern, come in teal, orange and lilac. According to the Blexit website, "BLEXIT is a frequency for those who have freed themselves from political orthodoxy. It's a rebellion led by Americans who wish to disrupt the simulation of fear. "
