Big alarm on Friday morning on the Friedrich-Ebert-Damm! Policemen shot down an armed man there. He ran around the area with a knife and apparently threatened passers-by.
At seven o’clock in the morning, several emergency calls were sent to the police headquarters. The callers reported a man who waved a knife on Friedrich-Ebert-Damm threatening people.
Immediately, several patrol cars moved out. Locally, the officers arrived at an apparently confused man walking barefoot with a knife in his hand.
According to initial MOPO information, the situation had been so dramatic that one of the police officers had to put the man out of action with a targeted leg shot.
The victim was then taken care of by an ambulance and taken to a clinic. The Friedrich-Ebert-Damm was fully closed to take evidence in both directions. As a result, there are significant disabilities in the rush hour.
