Lion Air Escapes Bankruptcy Lawsuit

JAKARTA, – Council of Judges Court The State of Central Jakarta rejected the Deferment application Payment Obligations Debt (PKPU) submitted by Rolas Budiman Sitinjak and Budi Satoso against Lion Air.

Earlier, it was reported that a citizen named Budi Santoso sued PT Lion Mentari Airlines or Lion Air in the Central Jakarta District Court on October 22, 2020 and related the debt issue.

The plaintiff asked the court to stipulate a temporary suspension of debt payment obligations (PKPU) for the PKPU Respondent PT Lion Mentari Airline, no later than 45 days after the a quo decision was pronounced.

“Granted the Application for Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) filed by the PKPU Petitioner against the PKPU Respondent and stated that the PKPU Respondent was under Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations,” read the petitum filed by Budi Santoso.
