Manchester United receives a boost in pursuit of Raul Jimenez and other rumors about the move

Manchester United has received a boost in its alleged interest in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez, according to reports.

After two successful transfer windows in succession with the summer signatures of Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire, followed by Bruno Fernandes and the arrivals of Odion Ighalo in January, United is looking to continue to improve its team when the window will reopen.

The club is looking to add three new players to its side, with the midfield and hips representing a priority area and the likes of Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jude Bellingham are targets.

United has also been closely linked to numerous attackers and a name that continues to be touted is Mexican frontman Jimenez.

The 28-year-old has established himself as one of the Premier League’s deadliest finisher during his one and a half seasons at the Wolves, and has so far made 22 hits in 44 games with his names this season, plus 10 assists.

Jimenez arrived in the Black Country from Benfica in 2019 for £ 34.2 million, but his shape is seeing him tied in a big move away.
