Manuel Antonio lost the life of several bullets during an assault that was recorded when he went, along with his classmates and his teacher, to carry out their professional practices.
A student from the Popular University of Chontalpa (UPCH) was murdered this morning when he was traveling with a group of classmates and a teacher to do professional practices.
The events took place in the Ejido Zapotal of the Palo Mulato ranchería, in Huimanguillo, Tabasco, one of the municipalities considered to be the most violent in the entity.
According to the latest reports, the group of students and the professor were violently assaulted, and in the attack, the student of the eighth semester of Engineering in Agronomy, Manuel Antonio, lost the life of several bullets.
The other two students and the teacher who accompanied them suffered blows to the head that are not life-threatening. The area was immediately cordoned off by police elements.
For its part, the Popular University of Chontalpa (UPCH), through a statement, condemned the acts of violence “that for years have hurt the region and the State and that today have claimed the life of our student,” said the information office.
