Maserati has published a teaser for the new compact crossover, which will be located in front of Levante model and will compete with the Porsche Macan. The novelty will be called Grecale – in honor of the strong Gregal wind blowing in the western Mediterranean.
Maserati Grecale will share the main components and assemblies with the Alfa Romeo Stelvio crossover, which has been produced since 2017. It can also get a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with 510 horsepower.
In addition, it is possible that the crossover will be available with a 330-horsepower hybrid setup based on a two-liter “turbo four”, which recently got a Ghibli sedan… Finally, after 2022, Grecale will have a fully electric retrofit.
The latest innovation from Maserati is supercar called MC20… The novelty was equipped with a three-liter V6 engine with two turbochargers, developing 630 hp. and 730 Nm of torque. The car is capable of gaining the first “hundred” in 2.9 seconds, and its maximum speed is 325 km per hour.
