CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Lemonade Day is a fun and refreshing community event that teaches children the skills they need to be successful in the future. The idea is to offer children the opportunity to start, own and manage their own business – a lemonade stand!
Before setting up a booth on Saturday 25 April, participants will register online to prepare for Lemonade Day. In view of Lemonade Day, young people will learn to set goals, develop a business plan, establish a budget, look for investors and provide customer support. . It all comes to life when lemonade opens up to business through the coastal curve!
Each child retains all the income they get from their business and after paying back the investors, they are encouraged to save some money, spend some money and give some back to the community.
New this year, the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce Foundation will offer the inaugural “Lemonade Micro Loan Day”. On Saturday March 14, those who need help financing a lemonade stand will have the opportunity to get a $ 25 loan to start their own business. The first 20 children who show up in one of the following positions have a guaranteed loan!
