After several weeks of waiting, finally Bogota has availability of Moderna vaccines for second dose.

The Secretary of Health, Alejandro Gómez, reported on Friday afternoon that the city received 62,580 doses by the Ministry of Health, which began the distribution of the vaccines from that pharmaceutical company that arrived in the country this week. Gómez clarified that the logistics will begin this Saturday, September 25.

The Ministry of Health reported how the process of application of these will be Moderna vaccines.
The first thing to keep in mind is that these second doses will be intended for people 50 years of age or older or those who have some comorbidity so that they complete their outline of vaccination.

The process, in addition, will be through ‘pico y cédula’. This Saturday, September 25, those with an identity document ending in 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 can go to the authorized points.
On Sunday, September 26, those who have a document finished on 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 can do it.
Those who attend the authorized points must present their identity card and vaccination card. The hours of operation both days will be from 7 am to 8 pm., but it should be noted that vaccination will be while supplies last.
