Mothers who are positive for Covid-19 can give breast milk, here’s how according to the Ministry of Health

LUMJANG NEWS – Mothers who are positive for Covid-19 are still allowed to give breast milk (ASI) to their babies, of course, by observing strict health protocols.

The thing to note is the condition of the mother. If the mother does not experience severe symptoms of illness, she can give breast milk directly to the baby.

Meanwhile, for mothers who are physically weak or sick, so they do not have the strength to breastfeed directly, they can express their breast milk to be stored and given later to the baby.
