Motorola Edge + makes the idea of a long-awaited flagship

There are just three months to go and Motorola has already launched no fewer than four phones. None of these, however, can also be considered worthy of competing with the big boys of the smartphone market. Not even the slightly expensive folding Motorola Razr. Fortunately, there are only three months left per year and the company may actually have something special in store for its loyal fans if these losses occur on a particular Motorola Edge +.

Some will probably discuss the definition of “flagship”, but it is difficult to deny that in recent years the Motorola has failed to make a phone that could even match OnePlus in terms of specifications and price. Even its top Moto Z series has lagged far behind the times, even in the way it looks.

Pricebaba and @OnLeaks could bring some hope to Motorola fans with these renderings of a certain Motorola Edge +. The phone certainly looks, including screens with curved edges, thin bezels, a punch-out camera cutout and a triple camera system. Renderings also involve a fingerprint scanner on the screen and perhaps more than two microphones for noise cancellation.

Obviously not shown in the renderings are the specifications of this Moto Edge +. According to other sources, it will finally have Qualcomm’s highest-end mobile platform, the Snapdragon 865, along with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. It will come with a large 5,170 mAh battery and will ship with Android 10, thankfully.

All that’s left is for Motorola to actually launch the device, which could be a Verizon exclusive in the United States just like the old Droid series. Depending on the price, the Motorola Edge + could be the flagship that the company needs to stay in the game, especially considering how the Motorola Razr doesn’t seem to do it for the company and consumers.
