JAKARTA – Director of Business Empowerment of the Ministry of Investment / Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Anna Nurbani said business licenses owned by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) could facilitate the partnership process with large-scale business actors.
According to Anna, MSME players can take advantage of the one-stop integrated system (OSS) which has issued 2.67 million Business Registration Numbers for small business actors since its launch in July 2018.
“So we urge business owners even if they are home-based, please register at OSS and it’s free. Because this will be a requirement everywhere, when you want to apply for credit, including being assisted in partnering with large-scale business actors,” said Anna in the MSME Upgrading webinar in Jakarta, Wednesday (28/7/2021).

He ensured that this partnership was beneficial for both MSME players and large entrepreneurs, because small business actors could advance to class and, conversely, large businesses could get easy tax incentives in the form of tax allowances.
Based on Presidential Regulation Number 49 of 2021 concerning the Investment Sector, the government requires large business actors in certain fields who wish to obtain facilities to enter into partnerships with MSME actors.
